Y Green?

Practically all plants are green. That's ok, since they should have a color, hence why not green? There is however a good reason for not selecting green! The color we see is an indication that plants scatter the green light and use other portions – other colors – of sunlight. However, green is the most abundant color composing the white sunlight. Plants are known as those, which harvest sunlight for their own sake and for all living species. Why then don't they use the most abundant color component of sunlight? There is no clear single answer, but we will discuss several options.
