August 12, 2015 Perseid meteor shower will be this year's best. Not only it provides an opportunity to enjoy warm summer night far from city light, but also no moon light is expected to interfer this time. We will discuss meteor showers in general, and the persides in particular. Among the questions we will address: How do showers get their name? How should one prepar for gazing? What are the meteors? And how do they know to keep appearing on the same date year after year after year?
