Iridium

From outer space down into deep underground rock layer, back to the dinosaur era, and again up to space (and your Smartphone): We will conduct this amazing voyage discussing the chemical element iridium.

Iridium is also the name of nearly one hundred satellites orbiting Earth. What do dinosaurs have to do with iridium and what does iridium have in common with this satellite network? Let's see!
